Detail : A very nice example of Nelson's work, this is a charming little instrument which produces a very pleasant sound. The church closed and was sold to new owners in March 2012 and the organ was saved from scrap; it was dismantled and is currently in storage. The Great Principal chorus, with the added colour of the swell stops can lead a largish congregation of good singers with ease. The Great Dulciana provides good accompaniment to a vibrant Swell Oboe. Everything is fairly compact and all worked well before disassembly. A reliable instrument in need of a good and loving home. NPOR ref. K00975
