The organ was sold as part of the freehold in 2015 when the building ceased to function as a chapel. It had been restored by Lance Foy in 1975..The organ was first listed by the IBO on 2017-03-21.

Detail : Plaque above console: "This organ was presented to the Trustees of the Chynhale Wesleyan Chapel, June 1880, by Annie Bickford-Smith, Margaret Bickford-Smith and Emily Venning Bickford-Smith in memory of their Mother Margaret Leaman Bickford-Smith who died at Camborne on the 22nd November 1868" There is a condition on relocation in that the organ may only be moved to another place of worship.
