This organ is located in the diocese or region of St Andrew's Church, Westgate, Upper Weardale, County Durham. The original builder was Nicholson & Newbegin c.1900 and the last known carer was unknown. The organ is functioning but will require cleaning and some restoration. the pipework is in serviceable condition..The organ was first listed by the IBO on 2024-11-28.

Detail : Built c.1900 by Nicholson & Newbegin, the organ was relocated to this church from Billy Row (Crook), probably by local enthusiasts several years ago. It is a typical small instrument with no pedal pipes… This organ is reasonably well made and would respond well to restoration… A very compact instrument and could serve a small church or chapel well for the accompaniment of hymns and simple voluntaries.
